Bahar Partow

Born: 1976, Tehran, Iran

Bahar is a Chicago based Freelance photographer and owner of baharphotography.com. She has 12 years experience in diverse areas of photography, including fine art, portraiture and editorial photography, among others. Her favorite subject to photograph is human body and interesting hidden forms and shapes in movement of body, she uses these movements and different angels to make the ordinary look extraordinary.

In her college years she explored many forms of darkroom techniques, here she learned how to master the technique of wallpaper size B&W handprint. Since then she always has been a fan of grainy pictures. In much of her work the use of grain creates a mystic attraction for the viewer.
